I took a few vacation days off from work last week and was able to catch a few episodes of "All My Children".No,I'm a soap addict or anything,but I sometimes like to tune in and see what's going on.I have always had a major crush on Susan Lucci ("Erica").Soaps can be alot of fun,really silly and wildly unrealistic.I get a kick out of watching "All My Children" from time to time.But,I hadn't seen it in a few months,so I'm confused about a few things.To those of you who watch it on a regular basis,can you answer these questions...




***The other day,Erica and Jack were getting married.But I'm positive that,just a few short months ago,Erica was engaged to another guy.She and the other guy (can't remember his name) were always together.Her house burned down and the two of them were living in a nice hotel suite together.What happened to this guy? And how did Erica get over him so quickly?

***When did Erica patch things up with her daughter Kendall? They used to HATE each other.What brought them together?

***Did Jack and Erica adopt a black boy? I keep seeing this guy named "Reggie" with them.He was the best man at the wedding,and in one scene,Erica told him that "Jack considers you like a son".What's this all about?


***Who is this "Michael" guy and did he really rape Bianca?



I have to admit,I am pleasantly surprised at these amazing storylines.I may have to start watching more often!

Dimitri won't be coming back because the actor who played him turned out to be a cokehead who kept getting into trouble. I remember he was involved with either Ana or her twin and at one point walked off into the ocean ala Virginia Woolf. I'm not sure how they finally wrote him out of the show, though. When it happened, I was trying to break free from watching for a while!

Dimitri was played by actor Michael Nader,who,as you pointed out,kept getting in trouble with the law.He is currently suing the producers of "All My Children" for firing him.Anyway,the way he was written off the show is...he and his wife (Anna's twin sister) simply decided to leave Pine Valley.Dimitri had already patched things up with his brother Edmund,so there was no drama or hard feelings.This was several years ago,and Dimitri hasn't been heard from since.
