A fun site that I like to go to occasionally when I'm bored is www.freearcade.com.

Lots of pop-ups on this one, so be careful, but lots of easy, fun games.

I also like www.shockwave.com. Some of the games on this take a bit of time to load, but are worth it. Beware of all the ads telling you to become a paid subscriber of this site.

BUT... if you want some REAL challenging, fun games, then you need to go out and buy them. For on-line multiplayer games, I would definitely reccomend:

1)COUNTER-STRIKE- This is perhaps the most enduring multi-player game ever. Made in 1998 as a mod of Half-Life, it still has hundreds of thousands of players and free servers to connect to around the world. The game divides teams into terrorists and counter-terrorists, who are pitted against each other with various maps and various missions. It has the video game fun of being able to take some bullets and having a "health meter", but is also realistic. You can't "re-health", and the guns you choose are so accurately based on the real guns that you have to control your bursts appropriately, or else your accuracy goes to the shitter.

2)Starcraft- A very very fun multiplayer strategy game. Build an army, make a battle plan, and hope it works better than your opponents. Three species, and a helluva lot of devices and choices, as well as alternate strategy reliances for each species makes this game almost as popular today as it was when it was released in 1996.

Both of these are well-worth their money. Today, you can get them for under $25.00. They're old, but their quality makes them still enjoyable today.

cheers!

If you want to play old NES games, you can download a free thing called an emulator. There are many out there, choose the one you like the most. then you can download games too, and they're usually very small, so you can stock up.

Yeap, if you get a ZSNES emu and ZBattle, you can play SNEWS games online with other people. I love doing that.
