PARENT/TEACHER INTERVIEW

I went to my daughters first parent/teacher interview last night. It was the first time that I wasn't worried about what was going to be said about me. lol
My daughter's only 20 months old...so it wasn't like a proper one. But it was still a bit weird for me to be going to one and not my parents. hmmm
My little girl is growing up. touched

It's not funny! You should see what comes walking through the classroom door! Makes me really wonder about what the ones who don't show up are like! whofarted

It's good that they keep the parents involved nod
So what did they say about your baby?

I get to go to my daughters first kindergarten P/T meeting friday. I've been to them before when she was in pre-k but this one just feels different. It's like it just seems to hit you for the first time, 'I've got a child and that child is growing. When the hell did this happen and how the hell can I stop them from growing up any more?' It just sort of takes you off gaurd doesn't it?
LOTS OF LUV 2 U ALL !!!

So what did they say about your baby?

They said that she's a little angel at school. Always does what the teacher says and likes to play with the building blocks. She sits down at the table and eats all her food plus even helps to take her plate away. big grin

I thought they were talking about the wrong child for a minute there. lol

It's funny what socialization does to a kid--they start to figure out they have to be more polite away from home with strangers than they are to their family! lol

Don't worry it's a long ways away. Enjoy her when she's an innocent baby, those are the best times!
