Life can be sooo hard, but the things that make it all worth while are usually very small. It's those little snippets of joy that add up to put a smile on your face and a sense of peace in your heart.

So what are those little things that just "get" you and make everything in the world OK?

*finding an out-of-print CD in the Used CD section (I just found a House of Krazees CD worth over $120!!)

*catching an episode of "Jackass" or "Tom Green"
*making a person smile or laugh
*a Boston Cooler on a summer day (the BEST!)
*walking around the Henry Ford Estate on a nice day
*hearing a favorite song of the radio (I just heard "Walk On the Wild Side" by Lou Reed this evening)
*hearing the voice of a dear friend
*finding an Org note in my mailbox (it doesn't matter from who)
*chatting with Sandra, TRON, RedFeathers, Jen, applekisses and all of my other friends who make this place worth inhabiting
*seeing a concert (any concert)
*PAYDAY!!
*making a hot fudge sundae
*playing Morton's List (go to www.mortonslist.com for more info)
*a pretty girl in a black bra and panties (I could have cancer and this sight could cheer me up!)
*seeing The Rocky Horror Picture Show in the theater
*going to a club where the people are friendly and non-pretentious
*finding out that one of my favorite musicians has a new album coming out (I CAN'T WAIT for the new Bowie disc!!)
*making out
*The Renaissance festival
*catching a foreign film on the big screen
*karaoke!!!
*sleeping in until noon on my day off

* Traveling, with someone else covering costs

* Roadtrips

* Watching kids walk home from school on an autumn afternoon

birds soaring through the air

butterflys

* having a spaghetti bolognese with fresh parmesan and red wine with friends.

* getting an unexpected "I love you so much..* message on your mobile from your b-friend.

* drinking tea in silence with some local friends in africa..

* seeing your first prince concert...

* go to a great performance; dance, music whatever...

* choclat bars..

* a glass of wine on a terras in my fav city of antwerp and look at all the weird people.

* making a really good drawing or design...

* play with the kid in the mini-swimmingpool

* a meetup with friends that unexpectedly turns into a party...

* riding your bike around the city with your discman and some great music.

* feeling the tension rise before you actually have sex...

* finding your feelings penned down in a book as you were never able to express them.
