As they couldn't get a babysitter , I was taken by my parents to see Jerry Lee Lewis at King Georges Hall , Belle Vue , Manchester ,UK. It was around 1976 ( I was 8 ) and the support act were The Darts.

Prince

It was the Act II tour in 1993. I went 2 1 of the shows at the Sheffield Arena, England. The night when 4 Non Blonde's weren't supporting. My Mum took me, he he! It was still the best concert Ive ever been 2 and can remember everything about it. It started off with Mayte harnassed up on some swing like thing, whilst the band played My name is Prince. Then Prince cam out 2 Sexy MF twistled his mic gun and then the crowd went wild! Highlights were a piano medley when Prince at 1 point said, 'OK, Im not coming back until U call me', he then went and sat on this rock 4 a bit. At the end of the show, he said 'My name is not Prince, my name is not Victor, but with U by my side I will be victorious'. Hence the start if the whole prince period. We went home and had marmite and butter on toast and then I went 2 bed but couldnt sleep just thinking of the magic Id just seen.

you slut! lol

i shouldn't complain, though, cuz my first show was (i'm hazey on the year...maybe '83) Budwieser SummerFest featuring: beastie boys, fat boys, ll cool j, new edition, and about 10 others. it was an all day thing. except for the beasties, its a bit corny now, but that such a fun show for a 5 year old!
