Facing up

How many of yall can admit when you are wrong about something? How many of yall squirm around the truth stretching out a worthless point? Talk to me, which one are you?

I admit when I'm wrong. It's hard to do but it's better if you cop up to your mistakes.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

I think most people don't have a hard time admitting to others that they were wrong...I think the hard part for us is first admitting to ourselves that we were wrong. Once we do that, admitting it to others is a piece o' cake. cake

It's too easy for people to say "I'm sorry" and not mean it...to say it simply to "end" an argument or to do so because it's expected...I'd rather not get an apology, than get one that wasn't sincere.

Agreed, Byron. Even though I am fairly young of age and still have lots of learning to achieve, I am most saddened when people hide behind the walls of self or simply take the easiest road out of a situation. Also, I have noticed that so many people even take a fairly simple issue that could be resolved quickly and triangulate it. Spinning more energy and people into a problem than is necessary. Just deal with the truth at the heart of the matter and work throught till you get to the other side.

I used to avoid admitting i was wrong a long time ago to try to keep an image. I was under alot of pressure to appear perfect and undefeated. I have sinced learned that i can be wrong and it is ok and it is because of being open that i feel i learn something new each day. I am human and don't have to know everything. That doesn't mean i won't try to know everything. Just that if i fall short it is ok. And it also cuts down on the number of enemies i have.(i have very few) wink

That's very well said. It always takes me years to admit to myself if I've fucked up. lol Just in denial I guess, and this river in Egypt is drowning me.

I admit when I'm wrong, & find that its always the best policy in the end. It makes one humble too. Something we all need 2 feel.
