...I arrived at work 2 find the One Nite Alone CD on my desk, returned from a work friend who is half a Prince fan (basically she wants 2 get her ears around any new Prince stuff, but won't admit it or pay 4 it). Anyway, about 6 peeps had a peep at the Cd on the desk throughout the day, and every time, after the ? 'who is it?' I would reply 'Prince, u can take it home and have a listen', 2 which they would put the cd down and say 'nah aint in2 him' (actually I aint in2 him either, just think he is a fucking genious).
Well I dont know about u BUT, if I was offered a cd 2 take home and listen 2, regardless of if I actually like them or not, I would say thankyou, take it home, slap it on the system and give it a try. All music deserves a chance, am I wrong?
The main point I am trying 2 make is - after I got home with my unwanted ONA CD, I slapped it on the system and with a smile thought 'there loss, not mine, who the fuck was those people anyway!'
