I'm Feeling Nostalgic Today.....

Does anybody miss the 80's as much as I do? LOL - I know it sounds strange, but the 80's kicked ass! It was the decade where you could turn on the radio and always find a great song to listen too, unlike the shit they play on the radio now. omg ill

I think another reason why I loved the 80's so much was because I was soo much younger back then (still "wet behind the ears", to quote a line from Graffiti Bridge). lol It just seems like things are not as good as they used to be anymore with the wars in the world, the shitty economy that never seems to get any better (yeah I know, we had a bad economy during 1982-1983, but it didn't effect me as much then because I was still living at home with my parents), the drugs/violence/AIDs problems, and the list goes on.

Is anybody else missing the 80's or is it just me? lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Yes psychodelicious, I agree...and musicwas music, iy wasnt about boy bands or pretty girl bands. Look at Alison Moyet, she was a beautiful singer, very big woman, but people didnt care, cos they listened to her songs, not judged her by her appearance.

Plus there was alot of fun fashions back in the 80's, people dressed to express themselves...look at Adam Ant drool Boy George, Prince, David Bowie etc etc...

It was all a hell of a lot of fun... big grin
