yes it will, cuz the same thing happened to me when i wuz a bit younger...i'd go a month without havin my period, then the next month i'd have it and it'd be really heavy and almost non-stop. my folks had me go to the doctor and they put me on the pill...before long my period wuz back to normal.

Don't rule out the Pill just because of your friends. Everyone is different, and sometimes people blame medication for the things they're feeling/doing. Plus, there are literally dozens of different kinds of pills, and a doctor can find one that suits you. poor purplegypsy - what a drag! i agree with the others... there is such a variety of options out there now at various price ranges, make sure you have exhausted all options before you put yourself through more of this.

Damn you poor thing you I cant imagine having one for two weeks, it's bad enough having it for three days.

I think you should see a doctor. Even if you don't get on the pill. Having a period for 2 weeks just doesn't sound right.

Make sure to get enough iron while you're bleeding this much. I once had my period for 3 months due to the depo shot and I became very anemic.

It's never a bad idea to take a multi-vitamin. And I agree with everyone else: you should go see your doctor.
