this place is odd in that we don't really know each other yet we entertain the notion that we do. so, we are able to be simultaneously intimate and distant from each other which can lead to misunderstandings and disproportionate reactions.

i like to think that the people who 'left' will someday return. . . like, an angry BF who stomps off in a huff but chers up and comes back to talk about it
