Now, one day you encounter the mysterious Orger X. I've not met him personally, how come he gets 2 have a space in his name? Like many of the Org's big personalities, this person enjoys a good argument. No harm there, debate is good. Enjoys provoking those that are easily provoked. Now this is not good. Sounds like bullying 2 me! And other orgers have a right to protection. He has flamed people at times, and caused several flame wars. Damn, not cool. How many times has this problem been addressed with this individual. He's made some friends, but also some enemies too, How exactly has he made enimies! all of whom are now howling for his blood, demanding you take action. Is their hwling justifed, do U belive that if U could U would remove them perminantly.

So, abusive posters who are ruining the forums HAVE to be prevented from posting at some point. I have to go to work, so I don't have the time to properly address this thread at the moment. However, I do want to say that my opinion is that you've oversimplified/trivialized the matter and the very real concerns of a large number of Orgers whose experience has been altered permanently by some of the perceived favoritism, ian. I find that there is a lot going on under the surface of this place that goes missed, and DOES get reported, but is not understood for what it is.

No, that "large number of Orgers" I refered to does not include me. I have determined that I will no longer fight anyone's battles but my own here, after having put myself in the middle of too many personal skirmishes that had nothing to do with me, where I foolishly thought I could help people. I am here now only to have fun, learn and interact with those I admire.

I think option A isn't too bad. It takes time to change your IP address and if the problem arises under another name you can always do it do it again (TDS though) !

It depends how much of a problem they are causing!

Plenty of people sit on the sidelines and grumble about how crap something is, but it is another matter entirely to come up with a solution. Not that I am saying that about you, AL2.

No, most internet service providers allocate a new IP address to each user every time they log on. You can set up a new Hotmail account in a few minutes. It is very very easy to stay on the Org, we have no way of stopping people coming here. Which is why our efforts focus on letting people stay, but trying to get them to follow the site rules as best they can, whilst they are here.
