This is going to sound crazy but its the truth. And this is a longshot but im going to post wherever anyone can lead me in the right direction.

My friend was supposed to come see me in early July from Colorado. The problem was that she had a panic attack on the plane so they let her off at newark. Halfway to her destination. I was very nervous about her flying and I tried to say I would go over to Colorado to see her.

I thought her family would be able to reach her.
Now this is where the complications set in.
I dont hear from her for 2 weeks. And whats worse is her family phone gets disconnected completely. They didnt pay the bill or something.
Finally a week ago I heard from her she tells me she is in Newark still in the hospital and cant contact anyone because everyone she is calling is either out of range or they werent there at this hr. She is calling me after hours in the hospital.
She only knows a few numbers because they left her address book at the airport.

During the phone call she is makin to me she must get drugged by the nurse to get her back to her room. Because she is slurrin her words together.

I ask the nurse quickly where she is staying at.
She says either Cannabrock CunmBrock somethin close to that.
She says she has to go to put her back in the room
I think I can find the hospital. Unfortunately I didnt have enough time to ask for an address or phone number where I can reach this hospital at.
That weekend I try to do a search. I call 3 or 4 Hospitals to see if it is close to the name or a town or something.

I get nowhere. I have the phone number because of caller ID request.
I have the number so that should be the end of it right?
I call up the information and they say they have no way of being able to trace this phone call because its from a payphone. I ask "Can anyone get an address from this exact location" And they tell me no there is no possible way.

If her family did try calling me it would be on a payphone. I think they did once but my fax line was screwing with the phoneline at that time. So it canceled out the answering machine messages

If anyone from Newark New Jersey on here knows any place of a hospital near by that they would take her if she did have to be taken off a plane, it would be of tremendous help in finding her. What airport you think it must be and what hospital would they take someone in a case like this. Im guessing "Liberty?"


Its been close to a month since this happened and Im worried for her extremely.

If you can help you are saint. Now is your chance to do your own detective work if you think you can pinpoint what hospital she is at.

I need some people who know Newark yall.

The wack thing is this...

She was admitted in a hospital.
Since I am not family affiliated I cant do ish.
And they wont let out the details where she is if I ask.
Call the airport and they are gonna be like "Who are you? a friend? family only"


This is why I want everyone to listen.Pay attention to your phone bills. She tried callin her brother's cell one day in the ward and it was temporarily disconnected.

YOU never know when its important family emergency.
I have two words for these people who get their phone disconnected cuz they forget to pay:

AUTOMATIC Billing for all of your phones.

Do it immediately

I guess a detective work would think back to the scene of the layover in Newark.

And I guess it comes back to this.

Luckily I let her use my phonecard to call whenever she was callin me the past year in Colorado . You can tell now when she uses it because 10 minutes are deducted from a payphone call at the hospital.

she is currently checked in at.

I have that dang payphone number in that hospital the night she called. But stupid Verizon and the phone companies cant tell me where it is callin from.

Thats the most aggravating part. I have the number but I get jackshit when its a payphone.

What a effin nightmare for this girl.

I get a message back if I call the payphone.
It makes it so I cant call the number it says "We're sorry..."

And unfortunately a friend cant yell for Police when she is in Hospital care. Its down to the family. Thats what Im told. I did write a letter to the family instructin to get back to me since I havent heard from her in a week giving them a update.
So this is a waiting game right now and also this is a process of elimination of Hospitals in the area.


One thing taht annoys me is...when families dont check their email in emergencies.

Thats just not thinking clearly.

BUT>...you can use the library to check your email still

Tell the hospital or police that you are family. The hospital certainly won't check your id to see if you are related or not.
