Got a very serious question

Bought a bracelet with very very very sharp metal spikes today.
Would it be considered as a lethal weapon if I cross the countries borders, let's say in a plane?
Or does it signal that I'm into BDSM? rolleyes

Damn... I usually have to take all my accesories off when going through the metal detector...

Or I can just use very large hand gestures to move everyone off my way! lol

I'd say it probably would get confiscated by airport staff...

Usually such jeweltry has "rounded-off" spikes anyway, it shouldn't actually sharp... the sounds a bit dangerous (and painful!).

no more painful or damaging than a high heel on a woman's pump. I think they are so stupid about taking people's shit, rumbling through their luggage and dirty undees. You can use a hair dryer as a weapon if you really want to.
It makes me so mad

Pack it in your luggage and then check your bag. That's the ONLY way you're getting on the plane.

I had a studded belt that caused me some grief on a plane once...

It is stupid indeed, but that is the way of things at airports nowadays.

Silly really. Everytime I go through an airport, they make me take out my laptop and turn it on - to make sure it is a real laptop I guess and not a bomb or something. Quite silly really - if I wanted to I could quite easily get a big laptop, free up some space (e.g. hard drive, PCMCIA bay, mini-PCI card etc) and stash a gun / knife / bomb / whatever in there. The laptop would power up and look like a normal computer but it could be easily stuffed with weapons.

So what does asking me to turn it on prove smile

Really, anything can be a weapon anyway...

I know, they don't make them that sharp anymore but I was lucky to find one. And it is sharp, believe me!
