Actually no. At the moment I'm listening to Whip Smart.

Why? Don't you like her new cd?

At first it was quite shocking, but now I've grown to love it.

I'm afraid to listen to it. I saw the tail end of her video on Vh1 and almost shat myself. Is it really that good?

She did 4 songs with that super producing team, The Matrix. They're really radio friendly and catchy, but great pop-rock songs. The rest of the album and the free EP download that came with it are vintage Liz though. She just seems like she wanted to lighten up after her last album and divorce and I don't blame her at all. The new stuff feels fresh and unforced. Hey! I should be starting a thread about this.

That makes me feel loads better about it, then. I thought she had completely lost touch with the old Liz.

She got a divorce? That's too bad. I always wondered how her marriage was going after I heard "Go On Ahead." That song is so haunting.

Yeah, it seemed like she was already unsure of herself with Polyester Bride too.

I didn't know you were such a fan. Cool. How long have you been into her?

On and off since November - my ex-boyfriend introduced me to her. It's kind of hard for me to listen to her now though, old memories and such. I'm hoping after a while it'll wear off cause I really do dig her music.

See then the new album would be perfect for you. It's a great post-breakup kinda thing.

Are you going to see any of her shows in CA?

GENERATION X

"Too Personal"

You're to to to too personal
You're to to to too personal

Well you keep talking about love -
Well what do you want
We have fun alright- so what do you want
The idea of fate its all in the mind
We are the ones who control our own time

Look don't get me wrong
But if you keep on I'm gonna go

You're to to to too personal
You're to to to too personal

You say everyone's lonely and insecure
All because of living in hate and fear
Well if love is possession baby you better change
No one's gonna keep me in those chains

Look don't get me wrong
But if you keep on I'm gonna go

Forget your personal problems
Think about somebody else
I'm gonna think about them - right now

You're to to to too personal
You're to to to too personal
You're to to to too personal
You're to to to too personal

disbelief

Earlier, apples & I were talking about how much we love nerds and I said "I like the thought of corrupting their young, innocent minds (and bodies!)"

Then I edited it out real quick-like cause it made me sound like MJ.
