It's true... I was at a local Texaco and bought a 12 pack of beer.

I have a brown baseball cap and some sunglasses on. A youth baseball t-shirt and some shorts... the lady looked at me funny and asked that I remove my glasses. I did so, then she asked for my ID.

It's the first time in 8 years that I've been carded...

It gave me a laugh for the day, and a little ego boost too!

I laughingly told her I was 38 and haven't been carded in years... she said she cards everyone who doesn't have wrinkles or grey hair...

Anyway... thought I'd share. Cheers!

I never get carded... then again, I don't drink or smoke.

It used to piss me off when I'd get carded and have to go all the way out to my car and get my ID to prove it. Now I consider it a compliment to prove my age. Sometimes if they forget I insist they check to make sure.
