moderatorLate at night more than half of those hundreds of channels become infomercials. I never saw that in my brochure when I ordered DISH NETWORK. Farking Bastejis... Like I really want info on a dent puller or a juicer at 3AM on the weekend. Thank God there are still XXX sex channels available for the extra buck. -------------------------------------------------

The best part of Digital tv are the music channels. Very nice variety. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

I'm inclined to dump cable TV once my divorce is final and I'm living alone. The only show I've watched recently with any regularity is American Idol (  ). But I wonder if digital cable would be worthwhile just to get MTV2, where they actually still play music videos, like the MTV I remember from my childhood.
The audio music channels seem interesting, but I already subscribe to XM Satellite Radio. (In the interest of full disclosure, please be advised that I own stock in XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc.) Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

i turned on my tv last night for the first time over 3 weeks. to watch a movie that i rented...which was great but i seriously dont watch tv...i dont like to...its boring..and the commercials drive me nuts. a movie now and then is fine...but other than that tv drives me crazy. ive gone through peroids where i have been hooked on sitcoms and whatnot...but in the last 3 months...i have been made a conscious effort to try to do anything else but watch tv...its sux
