A very silly thread about my dog I just had to share this, I'm so proud of my little dog Uzie, she swam for the first time this afternoon! She's kinda sissy about water, but I threw a stick in and she went after it  Of course, when she found out she had to swim she kinda panicked and forgot about it, but she swam.

Nothing silly about it Teacher. I've had dogs and I know it's a great accomplishment when their insticts come into effect and they have to doggy paddle/swim... That first moment of shock when they jump in is both cute and funny!!! -------------------------------------------------

My dad has a blacklab-mutt mix and one day I decided to take him out on the boat with me. He was about 6 years old and had never been in the water but when I helped him into the water with me he swam like he was a natural.
I couldn't believe that he these water instincts and just somehow knew what to do. Animals are amazing. Teacher your dog looks cute.  | |

If it just has 1% lab in it, odds are it's gonna love water, all retreivers do cos it's what they're designed for. Clarification, it's not my dog in the pic.
