And I'm glad. matt, that is wonderful. that is a tribute to both of you and how you carry yourself throughout your world with intelligence and wisdom. this is how all people who have decided to part ways should behave. sometimes things do change and people do grow apart but it doesnt mean you have to compromise your values and morals. thank you for the shining example. zesty!!! | |

I went through it all and it is a difficult thing- I was married 12 years and with him for a total of 18 years. we did the whole lawyer thing and it cost a boatload!- we had children so it became about custody etc..nothing was ever solved. when the bills came in we finally agreed to go pro-se and it works- as long as both are in agreement. we had a paralegall for all the paper work and questions and that was much more helpful then getting the papers on your own.
i now consider my life a do-over! lol yes- the kids are doing great! they are loved dearly by us both. all the best mat. | |

Oh my goodness Matt, I'm soo sorry to hear this. At least you and your wife aren't battling with each other, and are handling it in a mature manner, but it still doesn't take away the pain that goes with a breakup.   RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |
