I like the overall message. The line:slipping on the saline, made me think of an IV bag.( Maybe cause I work at the hospital) The vision of salt on an open wound is also not a good one. I know it is deep feeling emotion, but the picture in my head is rather disturbing.

I do like the other lyrics, but I would try to find a new chorus. I like the image of the tears falling like rain on my broken heart. I liked the bit about saying all you needed to say by saying nothing. Good images with those!
