Lestat is my obvious choice also. Anne Rice is brilliant, she's made me fall for more than one vampire just with her words. The movies don't do the books justice.

If the woman in the pic up there actually existed, she'd be unable to walk--so top-heavy and tiny-bottomed that she'd fall right over. Some fantasies are just funny!
But anyway--Vampires? David Bowie/Catherine Deneuve in The Hunger!

The guy who did the Barnabus Collins character? He was pretty good. But, sexy vampires... uh. How 'bout Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. Yup, "Interview With A Vampire" was da bomb. |

My Faves:
Spookiest: Max Schrek as Count Orlok in "Nosferatu," and the "Salem's Lot" vampires. Cutest: Sesame Street's Count Von Count and Bunnicula from the children's book. Sexiest: Salma Hayek as Santanico Pandemonium in "From Dusk Til Dawn." Best stylistically: Lestat (Tom Cruise is closer to how I envisioned him than Stuart Townsend); the classic Dracula (I don't think anyone has played him as I imagine him from the book, but Bela Legosi and Peter Cushing come closest); Carmilla from Le Fanu's novel (I don't think the Tilly chick pulled her off well in the film). Favorite unsung vamp: John Amplas in title role of "Martin." Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
