Whats Ur political question

Maybe its in the wrong forum I dunno shrug, but I guess its a general question. I myself am Left-wing, growing up in a northern town in England my folks have always brought me up on left-wing values and have always voted 4 the Labour Party. I remember I used 2 go around canvassing with my Dad as a boy as he was an active member of the party. However since the rise of New Labour he has not renewed his membership due 2 certain values he keeps. I myself wont vote 4 them either becuz I 2 a great extent dont agree with some of their values and principles. Still, like I said, I sympathise with leftist ideology...

Just wondering about any1 else?

Oh definetly. Such a shame he lost his seat. If Id have lived a little down the road he would have been my local MP!

i wished we had more left-of-democrat options here in the States... the Green Party seems the most viable, although many think that Ralph Nader cost Gore the presidency in 2000 (which of course is bull). since i'm still a German citizen, i voted for the Animal Rights Party there - now there's a great option within a true multi-party system!

What about the Socialist Workers' Party? Or do they no longer exist in the US?
