Then all of a sudden this white guy in a cowboy hat sitting backwards on a horse on a farm talking about how 2 buy used cars and to buy from his shop.

This is very racil I think, and it is the 3rd of its kind (same dealer) to commercialize to black peoiple. And it didnt help having ghetto girls dancing and stuff in the backgrond. All it did was help racial peoples' views about the black community.

Anyway if all that you are thinking about is "what colour the seller is or what colour the buyer is" then you yourself are a being racist. When you look at a person see a person not a colour.

I do agree with your statement that people should see a person instead of color. But in can be argued that for people of color in America, that statement is oftentimes a luxury that can't be afforded. The problem is that whenever people of color in America, try to "look past color", we often run the risk of forgetting our culture as well.

While some may appplaud this as a step in the right direction, more often than not it seems that we are rudley reminded that we are in fact "minorities" in America.
I think that instead of looking past a person's color so to speak, we should try to acknowledge it and more importantly respect it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with acknowledging differences. The problem arises from our reactions to those differences.

When i see commercials like this i ask myself who made that black guy do this commercial? Wasn't he wise enough to see he was being exploited? or was he just interested in making a buck? freedom gave us a choice to make our own decisions, true it maybe marketed to a black demographic but that's what marketing is all about finding the demographic that your product appeals to. Fuck him and the brother that brother tht did the commercial as long as we have our people willing to accept roles and do things that portray us in a negative light our struggle to change this countries perspective of our community will always be difficult, but just remember the revolution starts with you and as long as you're enlighten we're one step closer to revealing the truth and eliminating this psycological disease many of our race are afflicted with which is inferiority

I didn't read anything in you description of the commercial that color was mentioned by any of the people who were in it. YOU were the only one mentioning color.
