Who here as ever had a run in with an animal of some sort and u walked away from it okay...or not? My friend from Australia told me how she had a run in with a shark & barely made it back to shore safely!

I had a hamster in grade school named Rufus. He bit me once, when he thought my finger was part of the carrot I gave him.

I survived!

Only animals as in men...

We had a very shy cat when I was little... when I was about 4 or 5, I picked her up and she sliced my nose completely open, up and down. You can still barely see the scar... they had to butterfly it for a few weeks.

I used to go swimming in the river down the road from where I lived.

My dog used to swim with me..I used to call for her when I was drowning, or something like that, she would swim to the rescue, sratching my chest as she swam too far into me.

I had a mouse bite my finger at high school...had to get a shot in my bum.

I'm a vet tech, so I have animals try to kill me just about every day, and my hands always look like hell as a result, but one of the worst bites I ever got was from a hamster.

He came in basically dead--I picked him up to confirm that and his bladder let loose, and the urine was COLD--but I handed him to the doctor, and the warmth and motion from being handled kick-started him. Anyway, he barely survived, and when I went to put him back in his cage he clamped down on the webbing between my thumb and forefinger. Little shit went all the way through. Took all of the self control I had not to fling him accross the room. I had to pry his jaws open to get my hand back.

So yeah, I got attacked by a mostly dead hamster.

I smooshed a spider the other day before it eated me up!

I bird tried to crap on me once, I survived. the bird didn't
