That was REALLY cool... but you misspelled "Hindenburg" in the following passage:

"With a personality like yours, it is easy to see that you will eventually grow to the size of the fabled Hindenberg. Not to worry though, a person as fat as you are going to be will not live long enough to have to deal with the immense problems with morbid obesity, as you will die of congestive heart failure due to massive deposits of fat on your body at a young age."

This would be perfect, were it not for the "Hindenberg" instead of "Hindenburg" thing.

Fix it and you have a winner!!![/quote]

Working on a first playable prototype for a new game. At this early stage, there's a lot of legwork to be done so I'm loathe to get too stuck into it on a Friday evening smile

Fuck it, Ian... plug your new "GameBoy Player" into your GameCube and play some GameBoy Advance games on the big screen!

biggrin

smile No way man, I don't want see how blocky and ugly those GBA graphics are on a big screen TV!

Anyway I got myself a copy of "Midtown Madness 3" for Xbox so I'm gonna have some fun on Xbox Live with some friends later. Got some old Miyazaki animation on DVD to keep the missus quiet...!

I got one of those GameBoy Players for my son... the graphics actually translate pretty well, as Nintendo put a big graphic around the actual screen, so that the GameBoy screen is not full-screen size... they most likely did this to minimize the blockiness. biggrin

It works and my son likes it! Now that the GameBoy Advance SP exists, it is not as useful, but it is still pretty cool.

I'll have to pick one up myself, and Advance Wars 2...

Yeah... I think that Nintendo has a winner on their hands with this one.

i am a drummer. i just finished work. there was no rehearsal
and no gig today. i thought i need to practice.
for three hours i played along all of my favourite jb songs. stuff like big payback, i got ants, cold sweat, world of soul etc. that was the fun part.
then i did some rudimental excercises and some sightreading(1 hour. i don`t like that so much)
after that i played along some ahmad jamal tunes, just to keep my brush playing tight.
finally i ended up doing this:

LL RR LL RR L RR LL RR LL R (thank you john blackwell!)

that makes 6 hours of playing the drums. all alone by myself me and i just play my...drums.
thank god i have a gig tomorrow. i couldn`t do this everyday. i am to old!! i used to do that when i was 20.

sorry everyone, i never meant to bother you. cheers.
