Man you Americans are starved of decent comedy... judging from those 3 listed smile

I had a feeling I'd hear something like that from the European end but I thought I'd offend you if I listed Benny Hill. biggrin I should have put down Monty Python though...

smile Well my vote out of your 3 listed at the top would be Sat. Night Live... but of course it always depended very much who was on it etc - some of the skits were very hit and miss.

the old school cast (but not THAT old) Chris Farley, David Spade, Mike Meyers, Adam Sandler, Phil Hartman, Dana Carvey...etc.

lol that's not old school!

she's only 20, In Living Colour is old school to her. biggrin

Ah my apologies.

Wow, I'm only 6 years older than that but it's funny how much difference it makes in terms of cultural references etc...

SNL has too many classic monents in TV.

I mean what classic's did MAD or ILC have?

SNL had:

Buckwheat
The Coneheads
Waynes World
The Church Lady
Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze in a strip contest.
Chee Burger Chee Burger
Jaws knocking on the door
The Samuri Warrior
Brian Fellows
The Cheerleaders
Rosannadanadana
The Roxbury boys

I could go on.

ILC did have classic in

Homey the Clown
Anton
Men on films

But that was it

MAD is funny, but not funny enough for me to remember shit from it.
Life my azz muthafucka, dis is a bitness!!

I love Gravy, I love Titties. I love Gravy Dipped Titties.

Out of these three satire/parody comedy type shows which of three was the funniest or kept you entertained the most:???

1. Saturady Night Live

2.In Living Colour

3. MAD TV

SNL and In Living Colour were my favorites. Can't get into MadTV for some reason. I've said this before but Buckwheat getting shot on SNL is still one of the greatest comedy sketches of all time in my opinion.
Damn Wayans and David Alan Grier made In Living Colour for me as well.
