if you like very sharp pointed social satire that tends to be a bit dry witted and bizarre, then it is really worth checking out. i freaking worshiop it. best small cast sketch comedy i have ever seen

Yay for Canada! Absolutely bizarre and hilarious!

Of this list, I'd pick SNL, but I think all of those choices are poor.

My top 3 list of Parody/Satire shows (no order)

1. Monty Python's Flying Circus

2. Kids in the Hall

3. Daily Show w/Jon Stewart (sans the trendy celebrity appearances. When they get editors, journalists, and politicians, the discussion is great. Show is a little one sided though, I must admit)

Other note: I think SNL was excellent in its early days, and then again from the period of 1989-1994. In recent years, Will Ferrell was fantastic, but he's gone now. The rest of the cast is mediocre at BEST. Horatio Sans makes an amusing goofy fat guy.

Will Sasso was EXCELLENT on MADTV, especially is Kenny Rogers, Randy Newman, and Steven Segal impersonations, and the Michael Jackson impersonator was also very funny. For the most part though, MADTV irritates me.

smile Well my vote out of your 3 listed at the top would be Sat. Night Live... but of course it always depended very much who was on it etc - some of the skits were very hit and miss.
