they always say that left handed people are more easy going than right handed people.

Another story : my father was left-handed, but in catholic school in the 1950s (read: strict latin nuns running the school) forced my dad to write right-handed. Yes, the nuns thought lefties are of devilish quality so they tied my dad's left arm around his back and forced him to do his penmenship right. Ever since then he has been ambidextrous. Nuns and the church were very strict in the Vatican I days. ... My grandfather was left-handed, but the nuns would beat the shit out of him if he wrote with his left-handed. I am a righty
bur most of my close friends are lefty's so I am used to accomodating my youngest daughter is ambi I think that is so cool everything she does with her right hand is backwards because her brain says left...she adapts wonderfully.

I once read in a usually reliable magazine that the most common reason to why people become left handed is that they got an overdose of male hormons at birth (applies to both men and women). I have definitely no idea if there is any truth in that. But it´s a funny thought. | |
