Well I go but I buy as much stuff at one time as possible to avoid having to go to often, and they do have everything once you learn how to navigate that big fucker, and besides they are sucking eveything else in my area under. Well not that there was much to begin with.

They totally engulf a neighborhood and drain it of it's personality. No more "Mom & Pop" stores... it's all a thing of the past. confused

So, just who shops there... who here will admit to it.

I do not! I will go out of my way to avoid this mess of a store, it's filthy parking lots and censored items for sale. disbelief

My complaint was never based on the class of people that shop there... I just hate that they suck the life out of a community and pay low wages and don't offer insurance... they've also been in several legal battles over sex discrimination. In general, it's an all around sucky store. I do like Target, though. smile

sure I shop at wal-mart. It's huge, it has everything..it's clean, I've never once seen a barefooted person in one (??that's whacked ice.) and a few people I know that work there claim the pay isn't the best but the benifits and insurance are very good. When I'm buying CD's for myself it's not usually at wal-mart...but when I'm buying one for my nieces who are 9 and 10 years old...I go to wal-mart. It's really not that bad. smile

I don't shop at WalMart or Sams Club because the people who run both chain stores are Pricks.

It makes no sense for them to sell censored albums. If they truly don't like that artists message, why are they capitalizing off him/her in the first place?

They're being sued for numerous issues including the unusually low number of women in high ranking positions at their company, and employees being forced to work off the clock.

Employees of the store have also explained on several web sites how WalMart is VERY anti-union. And if you even bring it up while working there, in a short amount of time you will lose your job.

There's plenty of places to find low prices, you just have to shop around. I find alot of great deals, as well as the same selection, at Target.

They're pushing off a morally upright christian front, when really the folks running that company have proven themselves to be shady and two faced as hell.

Before I found out about all this, I used to get my film processed there because their lab was brand new, and they did great prints. But one day, I got a roll back with a nasty note in it that they refused to print several frames because they considered them obscene.

I am not even kidding when I say that I have seen barefoot people walking in Wal-Mart in three states! :O

There are "Super Wal-Mart" stores around here that are clean and all that... but there are also the other kind. I just avoid them, as I don't dig that sort of scene... I would, however, go into one of the clean ones.

Yes, I shop at Wal-Mart. The prices there are cheap on some of the products i like to buy. I shop right alongside the rednecks with no teeth, barefooted people, poor people, rich people and the old people there, but I don't care. Those prices are cheap and sometimes I can't find a better deal anywhere else. Thanks Sam Walton.

Oh yeah, I have a Sam's Club card also. This brother be stacking up on toilet paper, soap and batteries there.

I was just going to post this. They pulled even Maxim magazine from their shelves (too racy apparently) yet they sell rifles and bullets.

This is EXACTLY why I refuse to shop there. It has nothing to do with the "class" of people that shop there because it's cheaper. A friend of mine from Holland recently spent 4 months in the U.S. with his wife, and they had the same thing happen to them: they took their film in and got a note back saying that one of the pics was too obscene for them to process. They said it was a picture of her with her wet bikini on!! omfg
And you know they just keep copies of all the "obscene" ones for their own jack-off collections.

Fuck Walmart and all that it stands for.

They can take their "holier than thou" attitude and shove it in their cornhole.

Censoring pictures? No Maxim?

The billions that are being stolen are probably by the employees.

Exactamundo! In addition, they won't fill the "morning after pill", aka, "emergency contraception" prescription (not the abortion pill, this is the one that prevents the egg from being released/fertilized, taken within 48 hrs after unprotected sex). First of all, the medication is legal, so their refusal to prescribe it is asinine, and secondly, in some communities they're the only pharmacy around for miles and miles...

They stopped selling Maxim and Stuff cuz the mags had stories and pictures of the music group TaTu...Walmart did not want any 'lesbian positive' stuff (or whatever they called it) associated with their fine institution (We're Christians, dammit!)

Is that the reason why? I didn't know. Yeah, I thought that it was just a marketing ploy with the whole TaTu being lesbians thing.
