Beacuse Vitali's eye was cut the hell up... Lennox said he was wering down, but it also looked like he wasnt really prepared for the fight being it was short notice,personally lennox was a lil wobbly for the 1st couple of rounds.

Lennox is still

Lennox sucked it up really bad last night, but he did cause one MASSIVE cut over Vitali's eye, a smaller cut on his eyelid and two cuts under his eye. Klitschko was in trouble because of the cuts, but he did rock Lewis in the second round and Lewis looked REALLY tired and out of shape. I don't think that Lewis would have been able to go 12, but that doesn't matter, as his right hand tore Klitschko's face up bad enough that they had to stop it.

Lewis should be a bit ashamed of his performance though.

great fight.
i watched again this morn.
i think without that cut lewis was going to get his assed whooped.
he was out of shape, fat, bloated and very winded.
he could barely stand up in some of those rounds.
i hated that klischko got cut because he put on a great fight.

lewis was very fortunate last night.
cant wait for the rematch.

oh the fight deserves a rematch definately Vitali was winning the fight solely on points, and the fact they were both trying to throw overhand rights,

two big guys like that overhand shots dont work, and all the clutching and grabbing and them they both fall, it was almost comical, but all n all it was a good fight.

Lewis will train much better for the next fight. I was annoyed by the whole farce, now that I think of it.

Larry Merchant, as much as I hate him, embarrassed Lennox and deservedly so. Lennox went on in his interview about how he had Vitali for lunch and how easily he handled Vitali. Larry shot back, "Yeah but it was a hard meal to digest Lennox." Lennox looked dumbfounded because he couldn't give a quick reply. That was great.

Lennox looked like he didn't train for this fight. Even though it was on short notice, he should've still been in better shape. He whines about how he doesn't get respected as a champ but what does he expect when he fights so poorly?

As for the cut, it was an ugly gash. It looked like it was from Lewis' right cross but it didn't help that he kept rubbing his dreads into the cut to make it bleed even more. As well as a few elbows that the ref "missed" as Lennox was throwing his hooks.
