Prince collecting: the rip off stories Being a Prince fan also takes its toll. How have you been ripped off? (No, not by becoming an NPGMC member or buying the 1999 Re-master)
I remember buying my first bootleg 'crucial' because it had Prince 'outtakes', whoo hoo. It was a single cd that was $40. this was 1988 
I remember buying some books, posters and photos from a chick called Linda Everett and was screwed royally. Half of the stuff was left out, the other stuff was completely wrong. She even sent a Hendrix video and said it was Prince. 
I sold some cds to Cosey Jackson, (the Prince video king) and he has never paid for them, $150 may you rot... 
I don't mind calling out your name, because if you did me wrong, I will never forget it and i will spread the word on you evil bitches. Another person, that will remain nameless, said he bought me a set of the three cd singles from the first Hit and Run shows for me. Then he saw how much they were going for on ebay so I never received them. He just keeps forgetting to send them.

thankfully, i've never been ripped off when tradin. i don't buy bootleggage and videos as it is...all of my transactions have been with awesome orgers who were all good on their word. 
as for the heffa who taped hendrix and said it wuz p...there's a person who i'd love to slap silly.  | |

I agree with the gorgeous princess that is Ms Handclapz. u dont need 2 buy any 'bootleggage'  trading it is much fairer, easier all 'round + sorting out peeps who dont have access 2 such stuff, let alone have ever heard any of it as a friendly jesture is SUCH a kick when u know they're really loving the vibe etc.
