For locking Ice's thread about beating up a white kid on May 1st, I for one found it very degrading towards the entire human race, not just white people in general. Any kind of racism is disgusting.

I'm white, and that thread did not hurt my feelings in the least. I am not an asshole..I would never do anything negative towards someone just because they were different than me (different race, sex, orientation, yadda yadda yadda)

Racism sucks, no matter who it's aimed at.

You can't pretend that racism doesn't exsist by just ignoring it. Some people want to read about issues like that because it is happening all around us, and they don't want to just stick their heads in the sand.

Ben didn't lock it due to the original thread's content, he locked it due to the way Black&Rising and Ice were trading threats/insults.

"Hey guys, if you are joking, it's not being perceived that way by the rest of the 'org (or me). And since perception is reality, it's obviously in breach of the site rules. I'm warning you both... and ice, you cause enough grief for the moderators as it is, so I'd be more careful if I were you...
