Your sugar walls?

What do you have hanging on the walls of your apartment/home?

I have a studio apartment, so I've very little wall space considering all the other crap I've piled in here lol

(All of these images can be clicked on for more info/or to be enlarged.)

Bob Willoughby print of The Graduate with Mrs. Robinson standing in front of the camera smoking a cigarette and Dustin Hoffman at the end of the hallway, just looking at her.

A rather large (5'x4') framed print of Me'Shell NdegéOcello that was taken by Mark Seliger that one several awards for Seliger and Rolling Stone magazine. Got it from a Red Hot auction at Amazon a couple of years ago for $1000... it's so big it cost another $500 just to frame. It's autographed by Seliger and NdegéOcello.

Another print by Bob Willoughby, this one is of Marilyn Monroe. You can't help but wonder what she's thinking smile

A framed promotional poster for Prince's "The Black Album".

Concert flyer for Me'Shell's June 10, 1996 concert at The Rage.

Framed concert flyer for Me'Shell's June 11, 1996 concert at The Showbox in Seattle.

Framed Flavia picture that my Mom sewed. It says "Music Is Love - In Search of a Word."

Framed limited edition print (#69/100) of Me'Shell's Peace Beyond Passion tour. Dates listed on the print are from June 2-12th, 1996.

Framed limited edition print of Prince's April 10 & 11, 1993 stop in San Francisco. Since I went to this show, I also have the ticket in the frame... it looks awesome. It costs over $200 to frame when I found this print back in 1994.

Framed limited edition print of Prince's November 10 & 11, 1988 stop in Oakland.

Rather large frame of autographed Joan Fontaine photographs that she sent to me when I was in love with her after seeing her in Alfred Hitchcock's "Rebecca" and "Suspicion."

Framed poster promoting Prince's "The Hits". It has 17 photographs of Prince from various time periods.

Coming soon: Just purchased signed limited edition (of 100) print. This poster was made specially for the OX-OP Gallery show in Minneapolis. It's now out of print. It cost $184 to frame lol

Tomio Seike (photographer) print of woman drying her face. One of my all-time favorite photographs.

    "Before Sunrise" poster.

Print of Marilyn Monroe at Malibu in 1948.

Print of Marilyn Monroe sitting on table...

i've got...

star two george clinton posters--one with "george clinton funks you" and another one my sister gave to me that he autographed

star one prince poster (the "wdc" one--i have the shower poster too but i ain't hangin it up ill)

star a map of des moines, iowa (my hometown)

star a couple of collages i made

star a gil elvgren pin-up calendar

and on the backs of my two doors (i have one that separates my living room from the bathroom area of my apartment and one that separates the kitchen from the rest of the place) i've got two first avenue flyers that folded out into posters, back from when they used to make 'em like that (they don't anymore):

star kitchen door: "who killed the robots tour" (some hip-hop thing that went on...i like it cuz it has a huge old-skool mic on it)

star bathroom door: joey ramone tribute poster from when he passed away sad

...and that's it batting eyes

eek post the edit

We've got a ton of wall space and it's mostly bare, but the stuff that is up was all chosen by my wife... things like pictures of flowers. One exception: I have this poster (professionally mounted) on the wall of my den:

I have a bunch of other stuff that's framed, but since they're professional credentials (e.g., diplomas and bar admission certificates), I've hung them on the walls of my office.

Our last apartment was like that--I think the ceilings were 14 feet high. I'm glad the ceiling lights never burned out--we would have had to put in a maintenance request just to get the bulbs changed. lol

Beautiful stuff.

I have bunches of dried roses everywhere. Very beautiful. I would like Rembrandts The Prodigal Son framed over the fireplace. (The colors coincidentally will match as well.) I need to get on that.

I love the Mrs Robinson pic.

I just watched the movie yesterday, actually.

That moment they are in the hotle room the first time and he wants to leave and then changes his mind and closes the bathroom door...

Just before the dark hits there is this shot of Mrs Robinson that is just SO classy.
