Go to the Consumer Reports web link below to tell Congress what we think. I'm calling for us again to unite and show them how powerful the voices of this funky lil NPG population really is. Find where it says "We encourage you to contact your members of Congress and urge them to tell the FCC to preserve its traditional media ownership rules. Click here to send a letter to your lawmakers in Congress" It's just that simple.

Take action or it's the death of Music and Democracy as we know it. Uh, I mean as we once knew it.

oh my goodness. happy with our radio stations? well NOW i am, of course, yes. oh MY yes.*

because back before the FCC so wisely de-regulated the market, back when the market retained some semblance of competition, we used to waste valuable seconds of our lives scanning the airwaves for the right tune from among the dozens of offerings.

but now we don't have to be bothered with all those small, independent stations broadcasting all those different points of view and types of music. why, it won't be long before clearchannel is the only voice in town.

and i say it's about TIME someone with true vision cleared the way for a single radio station!! YAY FCC!!!
