Who here hates SMS text!

I just can't get the hang of it, for some reason.
Just the other day my wife texted me about picking up the car from the garage. I thought, well I'll give it a go and texted her back. So I started to puch away at my mobile and meant to type in I'm just picking it up now . But stupid me types in I'm just spanking it up now .
I had pressed send before I could change it and, of course, my wife had to be with all her girlfriends when she got the message and showed them.





I'm so embarresed.

I fail to see the point of text messaging...why not just TALK to the person? That's what phones are for, right???

If ya wanna send an IM, wait till you get to a computer and use Yahoo or AIM or something.

I don't even HAVE a cell phone...so I can't feel sorry for you.

I am especially irked by those f*cking NexTel phones with the 2-way radio communication thing-ie. It's bad enough to hear someone talking on a cell phone next to you...it's even WORSE to hear BOTH sides of the conversation out loud!
