Ok. When I was in high-school I was crazy about this girl Simonne. SHe was also one of my closest friends and we had a kind of Moonlightin love-hate relationship. I had low self-esteem and never did anything about it coz I thought she'd never go 4 me. My biggest mistake was saying yes 2 this other girl who asked me 2 b her date 2 our "Formal" (kinda likea Prom I guess). It seems that Simonne expected me 2 ask her!
She's now married with a kid, and I'm in a long-term relationship and thinking of proposing (next week), but I don't think I've ever been as obsessed about any1, and I think I still secretly imagine that somehow, someday... I also had a crush on one of my best friends (male) during hi-school. Now, how's that for a confession!!! "We've never been able to pull off a funk number"

Oh, we're too good as friends, and I had a bad relationship that really hurt me, and I'm not ready to get hurt again, and blah blah blah. She led me by a string for the last year, maybe longer but I couldn't tell, and her answer was still no. You know, I should hate her for that! I had an experience almost exactly like that during my first year of college.
