Is this similar to shortman's syndrome? You know, trying to overcompensate for their shortcomigs?

I hate when people do this to me. Just shake my hand like a human being and not like a damn blender on crush mode!

Have you ever shook hands with Prince? He has a limp handshake much like the President. I suppose as a musician he doesn't want to damage his lifeblood.

I actually hate shaking hands.

People know that a weak handshake is terrible, nobody likes it, so some of them try to overcompensate by shaking harder. They are not skilled in their handshaking ways so they are unable to make their handshake firm, but not hard.

I know how to shake a hand. Despite what you've heard, aint nothing limp on me! I don't like whimpy handshakes either but there is a huge difference in a firm handshake and one that pulverizes your whole arm!
