I became an official Orger in the spring of 2000,when I was surfing the web for Prince news and stumbled across this site.So,I've been around for three years now.Every now and then,I long for the old Org.I have fond memories of the way it used to be.To those of you who visited the old Org,do you remember...




***Infinities Heaven---she was a very cool,spiritual lady always giving great advice and meaningful quotes.I wonder where she is now?

***The Prince imposters---remember "purple-pie","holdon2urwigz","the_Rainbow_Child","the_Real_Prince" and all those other crazy imposters? Around 2000,we had alot of those.One of them would visit and we would all be going crazy...lol...I specifically recall one Orger saying "I'm printing out this thread!"...lol...some fans got pissed at these imposters,but I found them to be quite amusing.I was most impressed with "purple_pie",he was the most convincing Prince imposter imo.

***The fake tracklists---Remember the album 'A Doll's House' and the two crazy trackslists that were actually submitted to Ben as "news items"? Song titles like "Eye Got U (Here's What Eye'm Gonna Do With U)","C & C (Cool and Crazy)",etc.

***Kellyanne McClure---I've said it before and I'll say it again,Kelly was fun to have around.Yes,she was a bitch and got on alot of people's nerves,but the Org needed a good villainess and Kelly served that purpose.Do you guys remember that LONG ass thread about a New York radio station? That entire thread became a Kellyanne-bashing and argument session.Admit it,as far as flaming goes,Kelly was better than anybody...lol...yes,she went too far at times,but I still miss her.

***The great Wellbeyond debates---Yes,he still posts here but not very frequently like he used to.Do you guys remember those LONG threads where somebody would (foolishly) try to debate him? LOL...it was fun watching him slaugter those people (in a nice way,of course).

***I miss the late-night chats with Christopher and CalhounSq. We're all here in California and we would always post the same time (after Midnight).These days,Chris is still around but I can never seem to find him...lol...and Calhoun has been missing in action for a few weeks now


What are your memories (good and bad) of the old Org?

*the PPML chat* all the original PPML family was here Me,Raspberry,Love4oneanother,Zeinabau.RudeBoy,Shy,Bambi,Skwurl,Meert. and so forth and so on.fun time man. woooweee

*Lou Spear* what a piece of work this Guy,he called me a Bootlegger cus i had a reeeal early copy of C & D and asked me for a copy when i said NO, he cried like a bitch

I was a lurker back then, and I do remember Kellyanne very well.

***Bart rarely posts nowadays,but on the old Org,he was a regular.Always arguing/debating with his aggressive "I told you so" style of posting.

as 4 my memories...

i remember one of my very first trips 2 the html-chatroom. i wuz still a brand-spankin new orger, and i wuz thinkin that nobody wanted 2 talk 2 me so i wuz like, "what gives?!" toffee (she still comes here, but not as often as the old days) said sumfin 2 me like, "just sit back and watch, you'll find your own lil' niche here soon enuff." not 2 much later on, i did. also, i still remember one of my first conversations with finess...think it had sumfin 2 do with "sexy dancer" or sum shit...

also, i remember how me and a couple other html-chatters would go and raid the holy river chatroom that used 2 be on the old org. 4 those of u who are new out there, the holy river chat wuz basically purple kool-aid drinker's haven. we'd go in there and pretend we were prince (or , as he still went by then)...me and SweetBaby still call each other "ms. gaines" and "ms. khan" from a certain episode of our chatroom raid...

mayho from minneapolis's paisley party reports she'd post after every friday night party.

from the ppml. bvh and face were the major gadflies. there were no "forums", just the weekly (or so) digest. you'd email in a reponse and see it days later, no immediate gratification. even the "news" items posted would take 24-48 hours to show up.

Well guys like Face and Bart are still around and still contributing occasionally in our Prince forum.

The biggest ass I ever knew on the PML / PPML was a guy called Mike Lindeen. I think that was his name. If he is here on Org 2.0, I hope you've mellowed over the years

I first came to the Org in October of 1999.

I remember Handsclaps as NewBreed Child.

Gosh I can't rememer his moniker, but he was one of the nicest Org men members. We learned alot about Egyptian history from him..
