Prince and American Psycho

This is a continuation of my original American Psycho thread.

The book is coming on well, read my first murder. There is a chapter called "Genesis" where Patrick Bateman is going on about the band and the songs on the albums, when i read this on page 131...

"In terms of lyrical craftsmanship and sheer songwriting skills this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Take the lyrics to "Land of Confusion," in which a singer addresses the problem of abusive political authority. This is laid down with a groove funkier and blacker than anything Prince or Michael Jackson--or any other black artist of recent years, for that matter--have come up with."

When all in life gets u down, dont look 2 your friends for help, look to the one that u know will help you.....Jim Beam.

I remember this.
Prince also makes two appearances in Bret's book "Glamorama" where he attends a party with Veronica Webb...by mid book...The Artist Formerly Known As Prince attends a different party "flanked by the Cocteu Twins..."
