And not paid the bill in a restaurant, or escaped the date from hell etc???

I ran out on 2 restaurant bills, it was their own fault anyway, they deserved it But I cannot be bothered to post the story right now...I will when I am showered and dressed though!

Ok, first restaurant:

I went shopping with my sister and a friend one summer, I bought a really nice short black halter neck dress, so after shopping went to a loo to put it on, got glammed up and we went out drinking cocktails in London...

...after a few we were hungry so went to a very well known Mexican Restaurant in Leicester Square.

We had starters, main, afew jugs of Margaritas, the waitressd was fucking useless ( no disrespect to lesbians here, but she was gay) so we nick named her El Dyko for fun

She just kept disappearing to the kitchen for ages, so we had really bad service, so when she returned, we kinda over ordered on drinks so we wouldnt die of thirst when she returned to our table.

Anyway, after the meal, El Dyko asked if we wanted dessert, we said we would decide, while looking at the menu, so we ordered a few bottles of beer...we said for her to not come back in a hurry cos we were stuffed and needed a rest, so off she trot to the kitchen.

We calculated what the bill would be and fuckin hell, even the Queen would have done a runner so once the idea of escaping the bill enetered our minds there was no going back.

Ali took our shopping bags, we gave each other lots of snooty air kisses and she left.

I was like fuck! We gotta go too, cos no way an I going halfers on this extorsionate bill, so we got up, strutted out, thanked the maitre de and walked slowly out the restaurant. Then legged it all downb the street where we ended back at the Cocktail Bar where we first started.


Cos we had spent nothing we celebrated by drinking loads more cocktails!!

I did by accident a few years ago. My friend and I were in Columbus for Pride, and we were hopping from bar to bar all day. Each time we would take turns paying the tab. Somewhere along the line we lost track of whose turn it was, so we both went to the bathroom seperately then left. I thought he had paid the check while I was in the bathroom and he thought I paid the check when he was takin a leak.

I felt like trash for doing it, we didn't realize what had happened until a few minutes later as we were walking down the street. But at the same time, now that we were out of the place and home free, we decided to pocket the money and party some more, LOL.

I was freaking out the whole night tho that our server would be out at the bars when he got off work, and might run into us.

A friend and I went to Liverpool to see another friend who was at uni there. He has a lecture in the morning so we decided that we would go down to the docks to the Beatles museum and then meet him later for lunch. When we got in to the restaurant there was a 'hen' party or some other large gathering of women and the waiters were pretty much occupied. Friends lecture overran so we decided to get bottle of wine have a 3 course lunch so that we could kill more time. When our friend finally joined us we all ordered dessert while we polished off the wine. When we asked for the bill they left it at our table for about 1/2 an hour, so we decided to pay at the counter by the door as we were fed up of waiting. When we got there the chap thanked us for our custom and off we breezed in to town centre where we promtly spent the money we'd saved on assorted rubbish.. a meal never tasted so good

Damn right, my friend's parents used to take him there whenever they visited, but he couldn't bear to show his face again!!

My second time was more boring, kinda like Tom's story

I had a pub meal and some drinks with a friend, I went to the toilet expecting my friend to pay and then they went to the toilet expecting me to pay

Thing was, they should have charged us for the meal when we ordered..

I ran out of Pizza X-press without paying (long story).

Running away from anywhere after eating a large meat feast and drinking a few Stellas is not easy.

I've never had i thappen to me but if I was out with a guy and he didn't have enough money to cover the bill I would pay it, I have no problem with that.

I can't think of a single restaraunt in my local area that I haven't done a runner from. I'm pretty sure most piss-heads would tell you the same.

I even did a runner from a pizza delivery once (if thats possible).

I did a runner once. he was tall and handsome. he almost made it to the Olympics too.

From Balthi King in Sheffield. I had 2 bail my friend out cuz the waiters locked her in and wouldnt let her go free until we paid up.

Best 1 was my mates, who made a little snippet in the Sheffield Star. They'd come home from a night out and did a runner from a taxi. They stupidly tried 2 climb a cliff face and both got stuck. 1 of my mates fell of and broke his arm. Well anyway a postman found them and called the ambulance at 4am in the morning. I bet people reading the article thought, 'pissheads ' he he.

Yes, taxis too...the best was when I did a runner from a taxi and completely smashed his car door in to fuckery He stopped the car and ran after me...boy was that scary, but his car did come off worse :LOL:

I just moved house and this taxi driver was kidnapping me, so I was ready to jump out the moving car, I stretched my leg out and pushed the door right open, his car door hit about 15 cars all parked down my street, he screeched the brakes, I ran out and he chased up the road after me, I hid in a neighbours garden and he found me lying behind a hedge, he was gonna take me to the police station, but I told him, he could be arrested for kidnapping me...he went back to his car, swearing alot, sped off, then stopped and came back for me, by that time I got my key in the front door into my house and ran upstairs to my room, thinking "Fuck! All my new neighbours cars are scratched!"
