We went to San Diego, did the whole tourist thing (even though I lived there for over 7 years), went to Sea World, then went to L.A., did the Universal Studios thing, did the Disneyland thing and then did the Hollywood thing... the whole time we stayed at Embassy Suites. It was nice, but it was a family thing... my wife and I need to do something alone next time.

The last vacation i "tried" to take after not taking one for 3 years..(it was a small vacation planned) was ruined by the big snowstorm here in the NorthEast back in March...
I had just gotten to Boston and everything was PERFECT.. the food, the hotel, the area... and the next morning i get up to the news saying we are in for like 2 feet of snow.. Since i was driving.. i knew if i stayed i could have been snowed in for a few days and i had to get back to work soon... So needless to say i had to pack up and head back to NY.. I am going again the end of July.. I can't wait!

My last vacation was cool... I took my son to the following places:

Schlitterbahn water park in New Braunfels - lots of water slides and such, he loved it.

Sea World in San Antonio - he loved it and got to pet dolphins and see various sea creatures.

Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico - he really liked this a lot more than I expected him to and I expected him to love it. He was REALLY into it.

We stopped at various places along the way as well and he had a GREAT time... and that is all that matters.

Last vacation I was on was in Chicago...stayed in Greektown (loved it) and went to the art museums and the Shed aquarium.
It wasn't an expensive trip, but a fun one nonetheless

Exotic? The place was, YES!

We went to the Dominican Republic, me and 2 other girls. One girl was a total twat so we left her in the room most nights. I got drunk every night and slept on the beach everyday.
