Sacha Baron Cohen aka Ali G is a very savvy guy, very smart and very good at baiting fame-hungry self-publicising interviewees into saying stuff they would never say in a more guarded interview... because he acts so stupid, the guests either get angry with him or they condescend to him and patronise him... either way it reveals some interesting aspects of the people he interviews.

And Borat is just pure comedy

I can't see how anyone couldn't get it. It's funny as shit.

I'd love to see the English version though. Is it the same format?

One does not have to be "cool" or "in the know" or whatever else you must be to "get" something... and just because you "get" something does not make it good... imo, he sucks whether it's a character or the real person... annoying is annoying.

You gotta appreciate his talent though. What he does is not easy.

Any one who doesnt get his humour needs a check up from the neck up. His show is pure genius, but sadly he cannot film in the UK anymore cos we all know him...that is when he decided to hit the gullible non-humorous US of A And he has proved that, it shows You cant take a fucking joke...I think it is soo damned funny..
