I clearly wasn't flaming enough on the old Org, coz no one remembers me neutral

Admittedly though, I did just spend all my time arguing with Bart, KellyAnne, FACE etc... and agreeing with KingSausage, Aerogram, Wellbeyond etc...

Ah, there were some quality flames in those days...

I remember you. biggrin

Two things really stand out in my mind about the old org:

1. The arguments between Wellbeyond and Bart.

2. The arrival of 2the9s and his great humour.

Rock on!!

woot! Someone remembers me!

Yeah 2the9's humour was a very welcome addition when he arrived, I do remember that...

I remember too, when the transfer to the new org was taking place, I was lost in a haze...wondering when, what, where it's gonna be... I was so relieved to find the new org, and that my name was still available.

Damn... those were the days. smile

The early days of the new Org were alot of fun.We were starting all types of dumb threads...lol...and that's why we now have thread limits smile

Remember the infamous "crash and burn" of the GD forum?

Oh that musta been quite recently though coz Em hasn't been around for more than a few years has he? My memory is getting hazy...!

Anyway yeah I'm a huge hiphop fan and I've always thought Em was very talented.

As for the "crash and burn" of the GD forum... that was only a year ago I think smile

***The Prince imposters---remember "purple-pie","holdon2urwigz","the_Rainbow_Child","the_Real_Prince" and all those other crazy imposters? Around 2000,we had alot of those. One of them would visit and we would all be going crazy...lol...I specifically recall one Orger saying "I'm printing out this thread!"...lol...some fans got pissed at these imposters, but I found them to be quite amusing.I was most impressed with "purple_pie",he was the most convincing Prince imposter imo.

This is some funny shit!

What's even funnier is the way some of us were naive enough to fall into their trap...lol...I remember emailing a few of my Prince pals, telling them to "log onto Prince.Org QUICK...we're chatting with Prince!!!".I felt so stupid!

I don't miss Kelly Anne, and I think some of you all are getting clouded by your own fuzzy warm nostalgia... Kelly Anne was a racist, hateful bitch. The Org, and indeed the world is better off without her.

On the other hand, KLHK was funny and forthright, which I liked. She's still around on the Org though, and posts sometimes. That said, you can only make so many "shocking" posts about sex and or Prince's arse before it gets a bit tired smile

At least guys like Bart and Face, although abrasive and insulting at times (This is the pot calling... is that the kettle? You're black!) always contributed to the discussion, created some interesting arguments, and often made good points. Kelly Anne was just a troll.

I agree with you to a point, but you gotta admit,*some* of Kelly's flames (the non-racist ones) were hilarious.I would sometimes be choking on my morning coffee, reading some of her lame put-downs and name-calling.And the way she used that red-haired porn star picture as her avatar, trying to make us believe it was really her...lo...that woman was quite a character!

Or,maybe like you say,I'm just clouded by warm fuzzy nostalgia...lol...
