a cute story... Here's something adorable I thought I'd share with you guys. I work in insurance claims... I got a new one today that occurred in a church parking lot. I just got off the phone with our insured, a 74-year-old man, who bumped into a fellow churchgoer (a pedestrian) yesterday after their church service. She is 70. He clipped her when she briskly walked out into the aisle, a van obstructing his view. Thank goodness he was driving very slowly (regardless of what she was doing, it is automatically the driver's fault when pedestrians are involved, save for a few extreme cases)!
Anyway, they had "flirted" before at church functions, both of their spouses are long deceased. She (the pedestrian) complained of a mildly sore leg and hip... she wanted to get it checked out, and knew it was nothing extreme, at least not as important as her shopping that was planned. She was intent on going out to her stores, SO, to make up for the incident, he took her out shopping himself so she wouldn't have to drive... and paid for the whole thing. Clothes, food, etc. He took her home and they had coffee while she unpacked, then he took her to the hospital to get her taken care of. Last night, they went out to dinner and now have future plans for this weekend. They hit it off... he told me he's thanked God for the accident- he is very shy, and if it wasn't for their scary encounter, he would have never gotten the courage to speak with her like he had to. I'm not a religious person, but it still made me smile... good for them. She even told him that he was her favorite accident. Oh shit, my hat done fell off

So, the moral of this story is, if you fancy someone, hit them with your car? Sounds weird, but, what the hell! There's a girl I really like who works near me. Tommorrow, I'm going to knock her down!
