I know... It's been a while since my last column. An unfortunate dispute with my editor lead to my temporary suspension. My boss didn't appreciate that it took me a whole month to get through Alex Hahn's Possessed instead of my usual two days. I told him it was because I kept nodding off -- it's like valium in book form. Fortunately, he has now read the book himself and fully understands my acute narcolepsy.

After drinking enough coffee, I realized that Orgtown was in the midst of a SAAS outbreak. The Severe Acute Adiostitis Syndrome strikes when victims are exposed to a mysterious virus that causes an atypical inflammatory condition and/or a sudden drop of orgosterone levels leading to a lack of interest in having any fun. Otherwise peaceful folks suddenly succumb to confrontational behavior or just pick up their avatar and leave.

So far, more than a dozen Orgers have contracted and sometimes succumbed to the disease. The list is long and packed with celebs. In hindsight, it was a good thing that Alex Hahn caused me to become a Sleeping Beauty that slept for a month instead of an hundred years, because I don't think I could stomach what this has done to Orgtown's once lively nightlife.

Thank goodness, Orgtown is not taking this laying down. A quarantine space was immediately created over at NPGMC. On the tourist front, Supa, Handclaps, KingSausage, Icenine and Althom have risen to the occasion virtually unassisted, barring a few illicit stimulants. There's much work to do and an incubation period to wait out.

Just so you know, you don't need to wear a mask wherever you go...only in the quarantined spaces.
