HELP...How do I file an Internet fraud complaint?

Hi
I remember reading last year about people reporting NPGMC for they felt defrauded.

I paid 20GBP for another site membership. Some days later my username and password (that I only wrote once for I had marked the "remember my password" facility) didn't work.

I wrote them and sent them the receipt and they said they'd do their best but it's been 100 days and they don't answer my emails anymore.mad

I'd like to email them (a last chance warning) saying how I'm going to report this situation, but the truth is I don't know how, where, what to do.

To make things worse my English is so bad that I don't know if they'd pay me any attention

cry Can anybody help me?

But I'm talking about:

A) An English site and I'm in Spain
B) 20 Pounds Sterling.

Won't the Police laugh at me?

i understand that part... and i dont think they will laugh.
this kinna thing happens alot...
here...where you live...is where you report the fraud to.
it may be different where you live...but i dont know.
the thing is...you are a victim of a crime!! what happened to you...is fraud!! and there are laws that govern it.
that would just be the first place i would check. what have you got to lose??
even if thats not the right place right off the bat...at least they can advise you as to what the right thing to do is.

I studied English many years ago and never again practiced.
(Never travelled to an English speaking country)

I can write simple sentences but then I don't know if I "file a complaint", or "report a fraud" or what to call it.

I started coming here to practice a little but I find it really difficult to express what I'm tryng to say.

I feel like an 8 yeard old child regarding my vocabulary.

Thanks anyway lol

Well, your English looks pretty good for someone who doesn't practice it much.

Finess

there's no minimum amount for fraud, someone took your money, simple as that it could go down as "petit larceny" usually small amount but its still goes down as a net fraud case, and should be investigated at once.

1.) Make note of the dates you contacted NPGMC asking them whats up. First you have to try and resolve it directly with them, which in your case it sounds like you already have.

2.) You can contact the US Post office and file a complaint for mail fraud.

3.) You can contact the Minneapolis Better Business Bureau, and they will put pressure on NPGMC to resolve the issue. The BBB requires some proof of you trying to resolve the issue with them first, and also a monetary amount you are trying to recoup.
