I have only ever stayed in one hotel. In was when I had a school trip to France for a week. The hotel rooms were horible but being with so many great mates and getting drunk made up for that. Paris really is the most beautiful city. We had a great time.
There was a food despenceser in the street built into a shop. No kidding. Where you would find an ordinary corner shop was a massive window and crain. Put your money in and choose what you want from the window and the crain picked in up and lifted it to the hatch. the towson inn in baltmore had heart shaped jacuzzi's but that was the best part of the room.
the maxwell house hotel in nashville was fun to stay at (the room service was excellent and you got all the free coffee you can drink or, in my case, steal ). the last place i stayed, the quality inn in minneapolis was amazing, but for very different reasons . the most posh place i've stayed was the hilton in washington d.c. there are more, but those are the ones that come to mind. (i'm a hotel room junkie. i love staying in hotel rooms.)

The Shangri La in Surabaya, Indonesia OR The Furama in Danang, Vietnam both 5 star hotels.
Loved it...I am a princess and know what is good for me. I think my favourite was the Furama, totally unspoilt, right on the beach of the China Sea...beautiful, heavenly..hmmm... I wanna be there... Oh you just got to go...the food is out of this world, the people so friendly...the weather, scenery. pools, rooms...sheer bliss, I was totally spoilt when I stayed there..
