Our department (psychology and behavioral neurosciences) uses male rats and rat brains to study the effects of various drugs and hormones on the brain. They can't use females because the hormone changes they go through mess up the test results. They can't get clean readings.
I'm glad I don't have to do the ordering for the labs( )...I just have to write about it once they're finished.

Nope...(thank God) by the time I get it it's just the drug names and how it can help people...then I write a press release or article about it and send it out to the media.
