sad and stupid but more sad I have this friend who has been living with a separated but married man for 8 years raising his kids etc.. he won't get a divorce because his wife is mentally ill. My friend wanted to have kids but won't because she's not married and now he just bought a new house and it is in the "wife's" and his name. So if something happens to Mr. Fire Chief she will have nothing... if she were okay with this I'd say ok your choice but she's not. you're friend needs to get a grip.
women who get into relationships with the "seperated, but still married" are destined to lead a life of heartbreak and self torture she will ALWAYS be, the OTHER woman. and all that "BUT i love him and he says he loves me" nonsense, is all *ullshit. he LOVES that he can get what he wants from both of them.

When I saw the title of this, I thought someone had finally devoted a thread to me. A boy can dream, can't he?

update on the friend:
she wants to confront him on their "aniversary" and called and asked me what she should say. I told her just tell him the truth and be prepared for what he says or does, you may not be happy. Was that good advice? We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.
