What Were You Listening To Thirty Years Ago?

1973... I was eight.

I remember Kool & The Gang's "Hollywood Swinging", The Three Degrees' "When Will I See You Again", The O'Jays' "Love Train", The Hues Corporation's "Rock The Boat", Barry White's "Never, Never Gonna Give You Up", Eddie Kendricks' "Keep On Truckin'"... so much more.

Music was cool in the 70's. stoned

I was three back then ... does anything from Sesame Street or The Electric Company count?

I do remember fleeting images in 1974 of President Nixon's resignation from the Watergate scandal.

Same here. My mom said I used to like the theme from the Spiderman cartoon, so I guess that has to be my answer.

You're a bunch of young little punks!!! Too bad too, cuz ya missed a lot of stuff...good music, pretty much disease free* sex... sigh

'Course you'll be saying the same thing 10 - 20 years from now to a new crew of young punks.
