Richard Pryor One of the greats, I love his stuff
Geoarge Carlin Never heard of him John Cleese A comedy genius! I thank him for Flying Circus, Fawlty Towers etc. But not for Clockwise or Fierce Creatures etc Robin Williams Don't really have an opinion. He's a bit American for my tastes. Bill Murray He's great, or rather, he was in some great movies Eddie Murphy He used to be one of the funniest American comedians. Now he's just fat and rich and unfunny Jim Carrey Was funny once. The joke has worn thin Chris Rock I like Chris Rock, he's a very funny likeable guy Mike Myers This guy is not as funny as he seems to think he is. Austin Powers movies are just the same joke over and over

Richard Pryor-The standard Geoarge Carlin-Brilliant John Cleese-? Robin Williams-silly Bill Murray-Funny back in the day Eddie Murphy-see bill murray Jim Carrey-overrated, but funny Chris Rock-bring the pain one of the best standup shows ever. Mike Myers-great as austin powers Chris rock is my favorite comedian. His acting is horible and his movies always suck. But as a standup few are in his league.

John Cleese did comedy sketch shows like Monty Python's Flying Circus. He also wrote for stuff like the Frost Report (along with the other Pythons) earlier in his career. After Python he went on to do Fawlty Towers and some less-than-stellar movies. Still his Python contributions assure his place in comedy heaven.

Geoarge Carlin He's aiight. John Cleese Outside of Monty Python I'm not that familiar with him. I dig Monty Python though. Robin Williams Overrated, annoying, doesn't know when to Bill Murray Underrated. Chicago's Second City Improv. Eddie Murphy Get him out. Jim Carrey He's aiight. Dumb and Dumber was funny as phuc though. Chris Rock Voice grates on me. Sometimes funny. Not as enamored with him as others seem to be. Mike Myers Dig 'im. This post not for the wimp contingent. Richard Pryor-The man. Geoarge Carlin-Eh, he's okay. John Cleese-great. Robin Williams-used to be funny back in the 80's and 90's. Not so much now. Bill Murray-Smartass funny guy. One of my favorites. "Where've you been soldier?" "AAAaarmy training Sir!" Eddie Murphy-For the sketch when Buckwheat got shot alone he's great in my book. "...Excuse me Mr Wheat?", "Yes?" bang!. Jim Carrey Great physical comedian. Chris Rock Great. Mike Myers-Like him too. [This message was edited Mon May 12 12:25:05 PDT 2003 by NovaAngel] "I ordered no broth! Richard Pryor Haven't listened to much of his stuff Geoarge Carlin Don't find him funny at all John Cleese Really don't like British Humour Robin Williams Overrated, don't like when he goes off into his little weird sound making tangents Bill Murray Don't like his humor either, too physical Eddie Murphy Classic! Highlights were: Delirous and SNL Jim Carrey Funny guy, love his brand. Alot like Robin Williams when he goes into interviews, but i like him, not Robin. Chris Rock Love his humor, intelligent observations Mike Myers Not funny, although i haven't seen much of him Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

He was/is comedic genius, and also you'll realize that most of Eddie Murphy's 80's stand-up routines were pretty much taken from Pryor's own act. He did it first, before Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock for that matter. I love Eddie and Chris as well, but Richard Pryor is the classic.
